《本草纲目》书籍设计

摘要笔者通过抽取《本草纲目》中部分的“草”部、“木”部进行信息可视化设计，将每味草本的“主治”内容转化为信息可视化的图形，考虑到人与信息之间的互动性，并在信息编排过程中积极探索自由版式与网格设计的相互融合。《长夏草木》书籍设计，将部分中药药材呈现在书籍中，笔者试图在三维及多维空间中构建新的阅读秩序，探索书籍与阅读者的互动关系，尝试把信息交互设计中的方法运用到书籍设计中，致力于创造较为实验性的书籍设计形式。通过此次课题的研究，笔者体会到中药文化的精髓，旨在通过各种图形、图表、图案的设计，将枯燥难懂的文字信息转化为可视化的信息图形，书籍设计整体散发出传统文化的韵味，但有不失现代感。这也是笔者从自我视角对《本草纲目》的设计新解，也希望通过自己的设计帮助非医学专业的受众中华医学有进一步的了解。77023

Title A long summer herb - "Compendium of Materia Medica"

Abstract

By conducting information visualization design in the sections of “grass” and “wood” in “Compendium of Materia Medica”, I put “attending content” of each flavor of herbs into available information visualization of graphics。 Besides, I take the interaction between people and information into account, and actively explore the mutual integration of free design as well as grid layout during the process of information arrangement。 Trough the design of the book in“Long Summer Grass”, part of the traditional Chinese medicines as well as their microscopic features are presented in the book。 I attempt to construct a new reading order of three-dimensional and multi-dimensional space to explore the interaction between books and readers。 Additionally, when trying to apply methods of information interaction design into the book design, I am committed to create a more experimental form of the design in the book。 By studying this subject, I understand part of the essence of traditional Chinese culture。 I focus on the design of various graphs, charts and logos to make dull and difficult text messages into visual information graphics, so the whole book exudes a traditional cultural charm but have a sense of modern。 This is also a new understanding of the design of “Compendium of Materia Medica” through my own perspective, and I hope that I can help non-medical professional readers better understand Chinese medicine through my design。
