杭州具有突出的旅游优势，与展览业相比，杭州发展会议业的优势显得更为突出。近些 年来，杭州会议产业的发展势头相当迅猛，在国内二线城市中脱颖而出。2016 年杭州 G20 峰会的圆满落幕，给杭州的会议业带来了全新的发展机遇。杭州市会议产业借助 G20 的东风， 将获得长足的发展空间。本文在研究国内外会议产业的基础上，分析杭州会议业的发展状况， 研究 G20 对杭州会议产业带来的效益和机遇，探讨杭州市会议产业发展存在的问题，对其提 升会议产业竞争力和打造“国际会议目的地”的战略定位提出相应的建议和措施。
The convention industry is a young and dynamic industry, which is growing up in rapid development。 According to the trend of the development of the global convention industry, the world convention industry gradually gets into the Asian Era。 China ushered in the golden era of convention industry development。 Nowadays, more and more cities in China have a positive and open attitude towards the meetings and take the meeting economy as a new growth point even an important pillar of the city development。
Hangzhou has outstanding tourism advantages, so it is more profitable to the development of the meeting industry compared to the exhibition industry。 In recent years, Hangzhou conference industry has been developing so rapidly as to stand out from other domestic second cities。 The successful conclusion of G20 summit in 2016 has brought new opportunities for the development of Hangzhou's convention industry。 Based on the research of domestic and International convention industry, this article analyzes the development status of Hangzhou’s convention industry and the benefits and opportunities G20 brings to Hangzhou。 It explores the existing problems in the development of Hangzhou’s convention industry so as to put forward corresponding suggestions and measures about how to enhance industrial competitiveness and make Hangzhou as “The International Convention Destination”。
