摘要近年来，随着经济全球化的进一步加快，中国海外直接投资进入了飞速发展时期。然而，长期以来，在中国的海外直接投资中，国有企业一直占据着绝对的主导地位。随着民营企业在中国经济发展中的作用日益增强，民营企业的海外直接投资也越来越值得研究。本论文从规模、区位分布、行业分布和投资方式几大方面，分析中国民营企业海外直接投资的现状与特征。通过优劣势分析法分析民营企业海外投资的优势与劣势。之后通过分析美国、日本和印度的中小企业的跨国投资的发展和特点，为中国民营企业提供了几点经验借鉴。最后，在此基础上从民营企业宏观、微观层面的投资决策和政府政策上提出了若干建议。19379

Title The Development and Status Quo of Chinese Private Enterprise Overseas Foreign Direct Investment
Abstract
In recent years, with the acceleration of the process of economic globalization, China's overseas direct investment has entered a stage of rapid development. However, for a long time, the state-owned enterprises have occupied the absolute dominant position in China’s foreign direct investment. With the increasing role private enterprises play in China's economic growth, the study of foreign direct investment by private owned enterprises is attracting greater attention and requires further analysis. This paper will focus on the analysis of the status quo and characteristics of Chinese private enterprise overseas direct investment from the scale location distribution，industry distribution and the investment methods and other important aspects. The paper provides some advice from studying the development and characteristics of United States, Japanese and Indian small and medium-sized enterprises. Finally, the paper will conclude with some suggestions on macroscopic and micro investment decisions of private enterprises and the government's policies.
