摘要: 云计算是一种新兴的商业计算模型,它将计算任务分布在大量计算机构成的资源池上,使各种应用系统能够根据需要获取计算力、存储空间和各种软件服务。云计算将所有的计算资源集中起来,并由软件实现自动管理,无需人为参与。这使得应用提供者无需为繁琐的细节而烦恼,能够更加专注于自己的业务,有利于创新和降低成本。云计算技术使得个人和企业能够以极低的成本获得极高的计算能力。21009
本文首先对云计算的组成进行了分析,然后针对云计算的节能问题进行了研究。通过云计算实验仿真平台,对比研究了不考虑节能的运资源分配、基于DVFS的云计算节能方法、基于静态阈值的云计算节能算法。通过仿真实验可知,云计算节能方法可以有效地节省能源减少环境污染,对于云计算的发展具有重要意义。

Energy-aware of cloud computing
Abstract: Cloud computing is an emerging model of Business Computing, it distributes computing tasks in a large amount of computer resources pool, so that all applications can access computing power, storage space and a variety of software service according to the needs of users. Cloud computing will all the computing resources together, and realized by software automatic control, without human involvement. This makes the application providers need not to worry about trivial details, and to be more focused on pay more attention to their own business. Furthermore, it is conducive to innovation and cost reduction. Cloud computing technology allows inpiduals and businesses to extremely high computational power available at very low cost.
This paper introduces the definition and characteristics of cloud computing first. Then focuses on energy consumption of cloud computing and energy-aware algorithms for cloud computing. Finally, DVFS and threshold-based algorithm are studied on platform of cloud computing. The results show that energy-aware algorithms can reduce the energy consumption of cloud computing which benefit to the environment.
