Analysis of the End of the 19th Century Causes of Germany’s Foreign Policy Shift
Abstract:At the end of 19th century, Germany’s foreign policy shift from the “Continental policy” to the “World policy”. The cause of the change can be summarized as: the rapid development of Germany’s economy, thoughts ethnic chauvinism and militarism flourished, the personal influence and despotism of Kaiser Wilhelm II, and the complicated international situation.
