摘要：随着生物识别技术的发展，我们发现每个人的指纹都是独一无二且终生不变的。因为这些特性，指纹识别技术现在已经成为了一种可靠的应用识别的手段，同时我们相信，指纹识别凭借它安全可靠的特性，最终将取代现有的各种供识别方法以及手段。47101

论文简要介绍了指纹识别的基本步骤，指纹图像预处等。对于预处理的几个步骤，介绍了图像规格化、图像增强、二值化和细化等方法。在综合比较了现有的很多算法后又从中选择了并且改进了一些步骤最后得到文中所用的算法。在实现过程中，克服了指纹原始图像质量欠佳的问题，比较好的对指纹图像进行了预处理，为后续特征提取等工作奠定了良好的环境。预处理后，得到一个像素宽度值的图像。在本文中，所有的算法都是用MATLAB编程实现。

Research on fingerprint image preprocessing   method based on Matlab

Abstract: With the development of biological identification technology, we find that each person's fingerprint is unique and constant. Because of these characteristics, fingerprint recognition technology has now become the reliable application identification means, also fingerprint identification by virtue of its safe and reliable features will eventually be replaced by various existing recognition methods and means for.

This paper briefly introduces the basic steps of fingerprint identification, fingerprint image preprocessing, etc.. For the pretreatment of several steps, this paper introduces the image normalization, image enhancement, two values and refinement methods. After a comprehensive comparison of the existing algorithms, we select and improve some steps and finally get the algorithm used in the paper. In the process of implementation, the problem of poor quality of the original fingerprint image is overcome, the fingerprint image is pre processed, which lays a good environment for the subsequent feature extraction and so on. After the pretreatment, the image of a pixel width value is obtained. In this paper, all the algorithms are implemented using MATLAB programming.
