Title    The design and development of the mobile course    schedule based on the Android platform                                                 

Abstract With the rapid development of computer science, microelectronic technology, Internet technology and mobile communication technology, smart phones and panel computers are becoming more and more strongly performing, functional and inexpensive, and popular with the civilian population. Android has broken up the balance of the market of mobile devices operating system, which used to be ruled by IOS and Symbian, and beats Symbian to get to the top. Originally developed by Andy Rubin, Android was designed for mobile phone. In 2005, Google purchased it, invested in it and built the Open Handset Alliance to improve it. Then it went further to panel computers and other fields. Smart phones and panel computers of Android platform are popular with students, for the strongly performance, low prices and various choice of model. A good mobile course schedule application on Android can be a lot of help with the time arrangement and the increase of efficiency.In this paper, we will discuss the architecture of the Android system, the building of development environment, the design and development of the mobile course schedule application and Android application debugging. The technologies used in development include SQLite and SQL server database, socket programing, DDMS debugging and so on.
