The Education Value of the History of Mathematics
Abstract: History of mathematics education is an important means of quality education. This article around the history of mathematics and mathematics education, combining with the teaching case education value were discussed and the research of the history of mathematics. First of all, through the overview to the history of mathematics, this paper expounds the relationship between the development of mathematics education in the mathematical history,. Secondly, the article from the mathematics classroom, interest in mathematics, mathematics learning, mathematical thinking, mathematics thought method, students' ideology and moral character and teachers' quality, etc, this paper discusses the history of mathematics in the role of mathematical education, helps us to correctly understand the history of mathematics education value, better play to the education function of the history of mathematics.

数学史的教育价值
引言
列宁曾经说过“一种科学的历史是那门科学最宝贵的一部分，科学只能给我们知识，而历史却能给我们以智慧.”在长期的应试教育中，数学史在数学教育中一直以来都是个被忽视的问题，这使得应试教育下培养出来的学生即使解题很厉害，可是却缺乏了起码的人性素养，这不是教育的本意[1].近年来，教育的改革的呼声一浪高过一浪，对于数学教育，专家们指出，培养学生的数学思文能力，是当代数学教育改革的核心问题之一.而培养学生各方面的素质也是教育义不容辞的责任和义务. 要解决这些问题，就必须将数学史有机融合到数学教学中.
“第一届全国数学史与数学教育会议”2005年4月1日到4月4日已在西北大学召开.这次会议进一步增进与国际间的接触和交流.“数学史”正把数学教育引向“数学文化”的轨道[2].为了弘扬数学灿烂的历史文化，促进数学教育的蓬勃发展，将数学史有机的融入到中学数学教学内容之中具有深远的意义.文献[1]到[7]谈了数学史的一些教育价值，文献[8]是关于教育部的制定规范.
本文针对数学史与数学教育的有机结合这一面，根据现行数学教学大纲和教学内容，结合数学教学现状采用今话古谈，追溯数学的历史，谈谈数学史在数学教学中的价值体现[5]. 通过数学史在应用中各个层面史人明白数学史是学习数学认识数学的工具.要弄清楚数学概念，数学思想和方法的发展过程，整张对数学的通知识，建立数学的整体意识，就必须运用数学史作为补充和指导[3].特别是，现代数学的体系犹如“茂密繁盛的森林”使人“站在外面窥不见它的全貌，深入内部又可能陷入迷津”，数学史的作用就是指引方向的“路标”，给人以启迪和明鉴.
