摘要在船舶设计中,对船舶阻力和船体粘性绕流的精确预报非常重要。当前,预测船舶阻力的方法并不多,用经验公式来估算,不准确且可能不符合实际情况;做模型试验,然后换算到实船阻力,这种方法不能精确描述船舶周围的流场,而且耗费巨大,成本高。65365

随着计算机的快速发展,船舶计算流体力学(Computational Fluid Dynamics,简称 CFD)方法在计算能力和实用化方面都基本能达到工程应用要求,而且花费较模型试验少很多。

本文采用商业计算流体力学软件FLUENT数值模拟系列60船模周围粘性流场及计算其阻力,并对结果进行分析。结果表明,FLUENT可以比较精确地预报船舶的摩擦阻力。对于小尺度的船模,预报的总阻力相差在20%以内。这为FLUENT在计算具有自由表面的船舶阻力方面和其他性能研究的实用性和准确性提供了一些依据。

Title    Numerical Simulation of Resistance and Viscous Flow around Ship Hull                                                   

Abstract

In ship design, it is very important to forecast ship hull resistance and viscous of flow accurately. At present, there are not much methods of predicting the ship resistance. The empirical formula to estimate, inaccurate and may not match the actual situation; make model test, and then converted to the real ship resistance, this method can not accurately describe the flow field around the ship, and cost a lot.

With the rapid development of computer, ship CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics, referred CFD) method in computing power and the practical aspects are essential to achieve the engineering application requirements, and cost much less than the model test.

In this paper, we use commercial CFD software FLUENT to do numerical simulation about series 60 ship models and calculation of viscous flow around its resistance, and then analyze the results. The results show that, FLUENT can forecast the frictional resistance of the ship accurately. For small-scale ship model, the results of resistance is different less than 20%. This can provide some prove for FLUENT in the calculation of free surface ship resistance and other performance aspects of the usefulness and accuracy of studies.
