Analysis of the Similarities and Differences on the Imitation Reality Show Television Programs between Taiwan and Chinese Mainland

Abstract: With the development of era, Television programs have been finding appropriate types according to the times. Inspired and tempted by the successful operation of industrialization of “Super Girl”, the reality shows have been becoming more and more popular in 2006 in china, becoming the hottest program type. Since 2011, Classics has been coming back , provoking the imitation reality show Television programs, ordinary people imitate stars, Stars imitate stars, the programs which are paying a tribute to classics and cherish the memory of idols have been emerging in an endless stream. “the Walk of King on Imitation” of Taiwan and “the Imitation Show of Superstar” of Chinese Mainland appeared on the scene. Beginning with the general situation of the imitation reality show Television programs, the thesis sketchs the development of this two program, analyses their similarities and differences, summarizes the reasons why the imitation reality show Television programs between Taiwan and Chinese Mainland have similarities and differences and predicts the future trend of the imitation reality show Television programs.
