A Study of China’s Music Television from the Angle of Rock Music
Abstract：Music Television originated from wireless TV music channels in the late eighties U.S., then it quickly swept Europe, America and other countries. It is a comprehensive music television technology which uses television technology and visual information full of “explosive” to disseminate music. It is inextricably linked with the rock music, and the rock also had a significant impact on it. Rock music affected the development of Chinese music television from the content, form, function and other aspects, mainly in its external form from promoting Chinese music television production more and more beautiful; from the functionality, content, some perspective on Chinese music video produced the vulgarization of the negative impact. This makes the music television in China face a variety of challenges. The author analyzed the rise and development of rock music based on the review of Chinese music television and the role rock music played in the development of Chinese music television. We believe that China’s music television development prospect is well worth waiting.

一、中国音乐电视的概述
（一）音乐电视的定义
“音乐电视”是英文“Music Television”的直接翻译，又简称为“MTV”。它是一种运用充满“爆炸性”的视觉信息来传播音乐的综合性电视技术。具体来说，“就是运用声电技术手段，以音乐语言为抒情表意方式，以画面语言为烘托的辅助表现形态，给观众以审美体验的电视艺术片种。” 它起源于二十世纪八十年代的美国无线电视音乐频道，并迅速风靡欧美等国。
它开始进入中国是在二十世纪九十年代，此后数年间，作为一种新的艺术形式获得了迅猛的发展，这很大一方面归功于中央电视台举办的中国音乐电视大赛。由央视这样有权威性的频道为其奠定发展基础，使得音乐电视更加深入人心。现在，MTV已经成为大部分电视台中非常重要的音乐节目类型，也在人们心中占据重要地位。
