Title Humanity in Violence Aesthetics Films: The Killer and Django Unchained
Abstract As a new way of film creation, violence aesthetics has been widely employed in the film industry。 It has made the violent scenes less bloody and less cruel, adding some poetic and aesthetic elements。 Violence aesthetics is more than violence。 It uses violence to promote the development of the plot and the audience can get psychic gratification from violence aesthetics films, and at the same time release their pressure。 This paper firstly introduces the definition of violence aesthetics and the development of violence aesthetics films, and then specifically chooses classic works of two representative directors John Woo and Quentin Tarantino as research object, so as to analyze humanity in violence aesthetics films and reveal the relationship between violence and humanity—that violence is part of humanity and it helps to release humanity。 Attention to the humanity in violent films has great importance to the development of the film art and social stability。

1 Introduction
Violence aesthetics is a concept which is created in recent years。 As a new aesthetic concept, violence aesthetics became popular in the 1990s。 It aims to eliminate audience’s fear of violence, ignore and weaken its effect of social and moral function (Wang, 2012)。 One remarkable characteristic of violence aesthetics films is that they usually show exaggerated and unconventional violent scenes and beautify them。 They show the violent side of humanity from the aesthetic aspect, with poetic pictures。
