摘要本文通过对教师课堂用语的研究,探究了教师课堂用语如何影响学生学习 效果。以 Brown 和 Levinson 的面子理论为基础,以收集的英语教师课堂用语为 切入点,本文主要探讨在英语课堂教学中,教师的课堂用语如何在保留学生“积 极面子”和“消极面子”的前提下得到构建,从而有利于活跃课堂气氛,减轻学 生焦虑的情绪,激发学生学习英语的兴趣。结果显示,通过营造这种和谐的课堂 气氛,教师可以增强学生学习英语的自信心,并最终达到有效的英语教学目标。 因此本文提出,在英语课堂中,教师应注意自己的课堂用语,从而使学生的英语学习效果最大化。 85737

Nowadays, with the rapid development of world globalization and the great enhancement of the cross-cultural communication, there has been a boom of learning English throughout the world。 Among them, China is a country with the largest population learning English。
Unlike English-speaking countries in which English learners can have much natural exposure to the target language, most of the learners in China can only learn it in classrooms。 Therefore, the English classrooms become the main place for Chinese students to have regular contact with English and study English。 So nearly every scholar and every teacher has always been seeking the best way for achieving effective teaching in English classrooms。 Certainly we can turn to many methods and strategies, among which applying appropriate teacher talk is the most popular and easy one。来自优W尔Y论W文C网WWw.YoueRw.com 加QQ7520,18766
Just as interpersonal communication is not simply a matter of information exchange, teacher talk is not only used for conveying information and imparting knowledge because it also reveals teachers’ attitudes and feelings and will influence those of students。 Although there has been an increasing amount of studies on classroom teacher talk, little has been from a face perspective。 What’s more, students are nowadays paying more and more attention to their face。 Therefore, in the course of teaching, to protect students’ self-esteem and self- confidence and help students to gain a sense of accomplishment, teachers should take into full account students’ feelings, especially their face。 By doing so, teachers can stimulate students’ interest in learning English and ensure that English teaching conducts successfully。 For the reasons mentioned above, the thesis discusses how teacher can attend to the students’ face in the course of teaching and thus achieve successful teaching under the guide of face theory。
