Abstract As we all known, writing is one of the four skills (reading; listening; reading and writing) of language learning and the highest level among them。 Writing is a mean of communication, characterized by purposeful and contextualized interaction。 This thesis elaborates the definition and principles of the task-based language teaching (TBLT) method and combines some theses of the practical usages in the real teaching environment to analyze application of the TBLT approach in the writing teaching。 The thesis also puts forward several strategic analyses to deal with the inappropriate teaching methods, in order to promote the students’ interest in writing and help them to utilize foreign language to explain more fluently。85736
