1。 Introduction
Traditional Chinese culture is beginning to capture the attention of the world。 At the same time, the government has taken the strategy of becoming a culture-output country。 As classical Chinese poetry has composed an important part of traditional Chinese culture, there’s a large demand of excellent translations of classical Chinese poetry。 However, there exists more bad works than good ones and little scattered theories。 It was in late 16th century that the translation of Chinese poetry appeared in the West。 With the further development of poetic translation, more and more opinions have been proposed to promote the translation of Chinese poems。 On the basis of the previous theorists’ achievements and his own practical experience, Xu Yuanchong proposes the theory of Three-Beauty Principle, which has three components, the beauty of sense, the beauty of sound and the beauty of form。 This theory is a breakthrough in the theories and practice of the translation of classical Chinese poetry。 论文网
