The Application of Guided Learning Plan in English Listening and Speaking Teaching in Junior Middle School--take Hangzhou Xixi Middle School as an example

Abstract The core strategy of the New English Curriculum Reform is based on a students-centered way, transforming students’ learning methods, developing students' innovative spirit and practical ability. 47393

The Guided Learning Plan mentioned in this paper is commonly referred to students’ learning programs. The learning plan itself is not only a copy of the teaching contents. In essence, it is a tool that the teacher uses to help students master the knowledge. It is a bridge for teachers and students to communicate in English learning. It is a media, through which teachers cultivate students' automatic and cooperative learning in listening and speaking class.

Having been practiced in Hangzhou Xixi Middle School for three months, the author has a deeper understanding on how to apply the learning plan in English listening and speaking class. Thus the author extracts some typical guided learning plans and analyses them both in content and teaching model. Then the author lists some advantages and disadvantages of applying the learning plan in English listening and speaking class. Last of all, the author gives some advice according to the research.

导学案在初中英语听说课中的应用—以杭州西溪中学为例

摘要英语新课程改革的核心策略是基于以学生为中心的教学方式，学生学习方式的转变以及培养学生的创新精神和实践能力。本文提到的学案导学通常被称为学生的学习计划。学案导学不仅是一份教学内容。在本质上，它是教师帮助学生掌握知识的工具，是教师和学生英语学习交流的桥梁，是教师在听说课中培养学生自主学习和合作学习能力的媒介。在杭州西溪中学实习的三个月使作者对于导学案在英语听说课中的应用有了一定的理解与感想，因此挑选了一些西溪中学比较典型的导学案作为分析案例，并结合实际课堂操作，试图探讨如何更有效地在英语听说课中实施英语导学案。最后作者就此提出了一些建议。

1. Introduction

With the deep development of the New English Curriculum Criterion reform, the English classes in secondary schools are experiencing a positive and lasting change. The traditional English teaching is transforming under the guidance of the new theory. The main task of the English curriculum for nine-year compulsory education is to stimulate and cultivate students’ interest and their confidence in learning the language, help them develop good learning habits and form effective learning strategies, facilitate autonomy and cooperative spirit in learning; enable students to master basic English language knowledge and skills in listening, speaking, reading and writing so that they form sufficient competence in using the language. (王蔷，2013). On the basis of the above, we lay a solid foundation for their life-long learning. Therefore, the class is not teacher-centered, but student-centered; the teacher is not there to teach, but to guide. As a guider, it is of great significance that the teacher also equips his students with learning strategies like automatic and cooperative learning.
