There is another definition on task from the perspective of pedagogy by Breen. That is, the learning activity has a specific objective. More attention has been paid to the objectives, the contents, the working process, and the outcomes of the task (Breen 23). Hence, according to Breen, the task aims to completing a variety of objectives, contributing to the completion of the language learning. A number of teaching activities are regarded as teaching tasks, including the effective use of the group discussions, team activities, etc.
