Nowadays, internet is playing an increasingly important role in our daily life, and the network communication is in rapid development as a result. Network language is a mirror of social and culture development which can mirror the characteristics of society. The network buzzwords are part of network language, which first appeared and became popular in the network, created or used by netizens and was given a special meaning or reference. In the wake of the rising of China’s international status, a growing number of foreign friends become more and more interested in getting to knowing what China is really like and what is really happening in China. Besides, different nations enjoy different life styles, traditions and conventions, therefore, specific things and phenomenon need specific expressions to deliver different culture features. For this reason, when doing translation of contemporary Chinese sayings, it’s inadequate to just transfer from one linguistic form to another because of some specific cultural connotations. Under these circumstances, how to do better Chinese-English rendering and to bring out legible English reading materials for foreigners is an urgent, yet very elusive problem.论文网
