I。 Introduction

Jackie Chan is a Hong Kong actor, martial artist, film director, producer and singer。 He is known for his own stunts in most of his movies。 He began his career as an extra child actor Big and Little Wong Tin Bar in 1962。 He then began his film career as a stuntman in the Bruce Lee films Fist of Fury (1972) and Enter the Dragon。 His first major breakthrough was the film Snake in the Eagle’s Shadow in 1978, while he was engaged to Seasonal Film Corporation。 At the 2012 Cannes Film Festival, Jackie Chan announced that he would retired from action films because he was getting too old for the genre。 After a period of time, he clarified that he would not be completely retiring from action films, but would be performing fewer stunts and taking  care of his body。 Jackie Chan was awarded “Silver Bauhinia Star” for his contributions to Hong Kong cinema。论文网

In fact, Hollywood really started to know Jackie Chan’s movie in 1995。 When Jackie Chan’s “Rumble in the Bronx” was shown on the 1500 theaters of the United States, the film created a good box office in North America。 The spiritual connotation of most Jackie Chan’s film was people’s consciousness and thought。 For example, in the movie “Police Story” series, it not focus on detailed fighting like usual action movies and it integrated into Chinese elements。 Jackie Chan playing the role of Chen Jiaju in the film。 On the one hand, he beating the criminals and brutal enemy is not allowed by the system as the police。 On the other hand, he is justice for the people to revolt violence。 Viewing people prefer to see against the usual protagonist in the film。 It’s obvious that the film element needs to meet the public’s heart, that is to say, the film is based on the audience heart。 And the public’s inner influenced was by Chinese culture, so Jackie Chan’s film joined a lot of content of Chinese culture, and it also called Chinese elements。

2。1 The Establishment of Hollywood Film Industry 

When people hear of the word “Hollywood”, the first thing is movies in their mind。 There’s a reason why Hollywood became the center of film production in America。 Hollywood built a lot of independent studios that gain the trust of a large audience as far as possible。 The main founder is Thomas Edison and his companions, and they had begun to distribute, produce, and exhibit their movies in Los Angeles。 Hollywood is located in the northwest of California in Los Angeles。 To some extent, the establishment of the Hollywood laid the economic status of Los Angeles。 Meanwhile, there are four advantages: the climate is suitable, the real estate price is low, the business is open and excellent geographical location in Los Angeles。 These conditions made the film more smoothly。 文献综述

2。2 The Extension of Hollywood Film Industry

Hollywood became the center of the film industry in the US。 It had established a perfect system of movies transmission。 The system assures cost and quality of the film and made a much more organized film industry than anywhere else in the world。 There was a clear pision of labor from the producer, the screenwriter, and director。 All screenplays had to be approved by establishing guidelines。 Soon MGM, Paramount Pictures, RKO Radio Pictures, and Warner Broswere are leading the development of Hollywood film industry by using a well-defined system。 Smaller studios like Universal Studios, United Artists, and Columbia Pictures were continuous development by this system。
