Since the promotion and popularization of digital learning in 2012, the role of multimedia technology in education becomes more outstanding。 And along with the advent of the era of “micro”, people have put forward terms such as “micro class” “micro course” “mini course” “micro video” and many other relevant nouns。 The multimedia technology not only liberates the students from the time, but also provides more image intuitive approach of learning for students with vivid pictures, animation, audio and multimedia, making pupils learn simple as well as difficult English knowledge better。 Interest is the best teacher。 The children’s world is full of stories。 Deducing the daily life into a series of wonderful stories and expressing English knowledge points through stories are more likely to attract learners attention。 And the students are more likely to experience learning fun。论文网
Therefore, this study introduces the “story teaching method” into the micro class, a method by which knowledge can be presented in the form of a story。 The presented micro class can arouse students’ interests in learning English and improve their English abilities。 This paper emphasizes the aspect of design needs which are based on the images of “story”。
This paper is mainly pided into five parts。 Part One is the introduction of this paper including the background, technological base and reason of this research。 Part Two introduces the definition of story teaching method and micro class, and relevant theoretical basis about the micro class design process based on the story teaching method。 Part Three is mainly about the design of the micro English class in primary schools including design basis, the original design intention, main design elements, main design strategy and the overall design process。 Part Four is the development and application cases of micro English class in primary schools, which mainly includes the development basis, micro class “iron triangle” and the application cases。 Part Five is the conclusion of this paper。

Story is not strange to us。 When we young, we listen to fables and stories, which are about the moral truth and philosophical meanings。 With the continuous development of education reforms, using stories in English teaching has gradually become a popular method in people’s education teaching 。
In this study, the definition of “story teaching method” is combining the teaching target with teaching content and showing the knowledge content in the form of a story, making the students appreciate and master relevant knowledge directly and vividly by the story scenes or story development。
2。1。2 The Characteristics and Significance of the Story Teaching Method
Story teaching method is in agreement with the requirement of the new curriculum standard of primary school English completely。 The story teaching can not only make students position themselves to achieve the three-dimensional goals and objectives explicitly and improve their English level, but also satisfy students’ interest and motivation in learning English, and at the same time seize students’ attention and mobilize students’ active participation, cooperation and sharing effectively。文献综述
Story teaching can not only strike a chord in students’ learning, strengthen communication and discussion between students but also improve the students’ learning interest and cognitive ability。 At the same time, in the process of story teaching reference, it takes the emotions of students’ learning, attitudes and values orientation into consideration and realizes the students-oriented class。 According to the primary school English new curriculum requirement and comprehensive analysis on primary school students’ English learning, categorizing the English knowledge, designing the relevant stories, unfolding the English knowledge points, learning with familiar story characters and thinking in students’ way can make students find the English learning motivation and the sense of belonging and security needs from the English learning process。
