摘要随着全球化的发展以及中国的崛起,中外交流日益密切,尤其是和西方国家的跨文化交际越来越频繁。但是由于中西方文化背景不同,在交往中难免会产生误解,造成尴尬的局面和不必要的麻烦。本文分别从跨文化语言交际和跨文化非语言交际两个方面来对中西方禁忌习俗差异进行研究。在此基础上,还包括跨文化禁忌能力及其培养的研究。禁忌习俗是文化的一部分,涉及到政治经济社会等各个方面,小到日常生活,大到外交交往。因此,对中西方禁忌习俗的研究,对不同文化间的相互理解和相互沟通有重要意义,有助于我们更好的进行跨文化交际。 84230

Abstract With the development of globalization and the rise of China, the cross-cultural communication between China and the west countries are increasingly frequent。 However, because of the different cultural backgrounds, it may lead to misunderstanding inevitably in the exchanges, and caused embarrassing situation or unnecessary trouble。 This paper mainly discusses the taboo customs from two aspects, cross-cultural language communication and cross-cultural non-verbal communication。 In addition, there is also the cross-cultural communication competence and its cultivation。 As a part of culture, taboo custom involves political, economic, social and many other aspects, ranging from daily life to diplomacy。 Therefore, the study of taboo customs is meaningful to the understanding of different cultures, and can help us to make cross-cultural communication better。

The Comparison and Analysis of Taboo Customs Between China and Western Countries from the Perspective of Cross-cultural Communication
I。 Introduction
Cross-cultural communication refers to the communication between people of different cultural backgrounds。 From the psychological point of view, intercultural communication is the communication which information editing and translation carried out by people from different cultural background。 By theoretical analysis, the cultural and social backgrounds (lifestyle, education, religions, gender, ages, political stand, economic, requirements of their friends, hobbies, personality and so on) of different people have differences in some senses。 The people from different cultural backgrounds might belong to different nationalities or different political system in macro view; and they might have different gender, different age, different occupation, different social strata, different regions, different educational background, different places, and different hobbies in micro view。
