摘要随着经济全球化的发展、商业活动日益频繁，中国企业越来越多地走出国门、走向世界，经贸英语的发展与应用也随之受到越来越多的关注和研究，对其的翻译显得尤为必要。经贸英语来源于普通英语，与普通英语有着共同的语言特征，同时有自己的语言特色。公司年度报告属于经贸英语的一种形式，本篇论文从美国语言学家尤金奈达的功能对等翻译理论入手，结合上市公司美的集团2014年年度报告的中英文版本，采用内容分析法、比较法和文献法进行课题的文献检索、综述、研究，从而融入自己的观点，从四个动态对等的角度（即词汇对等、句法对等、篇章对等、文体对等）对其年度报告的两个版本进行深入的对比探讨，并提出相应的英译策略在词汇、句法、篇章、文体上的特点，在词汇对等方面注意使用专业词汇和缩略语；在句法对等方面尝试使用被动语态并把简单句改为长句复杂句；在篇章对等方面注意借鉴图表来阐述观点；同时，本论文总结出一些在年度报告英译中可采用的翻译补偿策略，包括转译法、增译法、重复法、省略法，以期能够使上市公司决策者及其利益群体更好地阅读和理解公司年报。本研究的结果说明功能对等理论是指导年报翻译的可行性理论。87703

Title Annual Reports Translation in Light of Functional Equivalence Theory A Case Study of 2014 Aunnal Report of Midea Group
Abstract With economic globalization and commercial activities getting increasingly frequent, more and more Chinese companies begin to walk into the whole world and at the same time, business English has become so important and the study of business English translation has caught much attention。 As business English comes from general English, it shares linguistic characteristics with general English。 Meanwhile, business English has its own unique features。 As corporate annual report is a form of business English, this report is based on Nida's dynamic equivalence and takes the 2014 annual report of Midea Group both in Chinese and English as samples, focusing on analysis and discussion of the strategies and techniques of business English translation。 Both literature review and case analysis are adopted in the research。 Comparisons are made between the two versions from four aspects of dynamic equivalence (words, sentences, text, style)。 It is discovered that in order to achieve dynamic equivalence on the four levels, specialized words, abbreviation, passive voice, long and complex sentences, tables and charts are preferred in the translation of annual reports。 Meanwhile, some compensation strategies can be adopted in the translation of annual reports, such as conversion, amplification, repetition, and omission, to realize the maximum dynamic equivalence between the source language and the target language。
