A study on the Application of PPT in English Teaching in Primary School。 -- A case study of Hangzhou Jin Cheng Foreign Language Primary School。
Abstract With the high-speed development of modern society, science and technology has been gradually applied in every field of human life。 In the aspect of English teaching, the rapid development of modern information technology has brought great changes to the English class, especially in primary school。 In order to make the class more interesting, attract students’ attention and increase the effectiveness of the class, more and more teachers have adopted the main teaching mode, that is, PPT-based teaching。 89930
However, there are still existing many problems in English teaching in primary school。 First, in the process of making PPT, the target goal of the class is ignored; second, PPT are either too easy or too difficult which are not helpful in improving students’ language learning; third, the most of teachers do not proficient on making PPT, it wastes them a lot of time and makes low efficiency; fourth, teachers ignore the characteristics of students’ attention, so the atmosphere of class always without the desired。 Therefore, research on overcoming the demerits of PPT-based teaching and maximizing its positive function in primary school English teaching becomes necessary and meaningful。
In order to testify the positive effect and find problems of PPT-based teaching, the author conducted a experiment in Jin Cheng primary school。 60 pupils from Grade Four were selected to participate the experiment。 Class One is the experimental class and Class Two is the controlled class。 The experimental data was from three sources。 First, scores of examinations in two class after one week; second,results of questionnaires for the 60 students; third, results of questionnaires for the 12 English teachers。 After analyzing the data, the author found that the PPT-based teaching has more advantages in stimulating pupils’ interests and improving their efficiency in learning。 However, students and teachers also have some suggestions and opinions on this teaching method。
This study will integrate these experimental data, draw conclusions and give recommendations, helps primary school English teachers find problems in English teaching , improves their teaching skills and abilities of using multimedia, keep up with the rapid development of informationization。

摘要随着当今社会的高速发展,科学技术逐渐被运用于人类生活的各个领域,在英语教学方面,信息技术的高速发展也给英语课堂带来了巨大的变化,尤其是在小学。为了能够增加课堂的趣味性,吸引学生的注意力,以及提高课堂的有效性,越来越多的小学英语教师接受了以PPT为主要教学工具的教学模式。
但是,PPT技术在小学英语课堂教学中仍然存在着许多问题:1。在PPT的制作过程中,教师会忽略教学目标;2。在形式上,PPT过于容易或简单,难以帮助学生提高学习水平;3。大部分教师不熟练PPT制作流程,制作PPT浪费了大量的时间,劳心劳力,效率低下;4。教师在制作PPT时,不能考虑到小学生的注意力特征,难以达到教学效果。因此,如何克服PPT在小学英语教学中存在的不足,最大发挥其在小学英语教学中的积极作用,就成为了一个值得研究的课题。
本文将通过实验法以及问卷调查来发现PPT教学的积极作用以及不足之处。实验以杭州市金成外国语小学四年级两个班60名学生作为实验对象,其中四年级一班为实验班,四年级二班为对照班。整个数据的收集来自于三个方面:一是在分开教学一个星期后两个班学生的成绩;二是两班班学生的问卷调查;三是来自于金成外国语小学十二名英语老师的问卷调查。通过对以上三个数据的分析,证明了PPT教学法比传统的教学方法更能激发孩子的学习兴趣,提高学生的注意效率。与此同时,学生和教师仍对PPT教学存在一些意见和看法。 PPT在小学英语教学中的应用现状调查分析:http://www.youerw.com/yingyu/lunwen_195645.html
