In 2005,Guo Xiaoyan presented that the concept of the aesthetics should be put into the translation activities in order to reflect the translator’s creativity,as beauty has a cultural value.The translation aesthetics exists in many academic researches,and there are more than twenty thousand essays related to translation aesthetics.In 1995,Liu Miqing constructed a theoretical framework of translation aesthetics in his book An Introduction to Translation and Aesthetics.From the two perspective of scientificity and artistry of translation,he analyzed the inner parts of the two systems.In 2005,Mao Ronggui published his Translation and Aesthetics,which focus on the aesthetic ideology from the aspect of linguistics including phoneme,vocabulary,sentence and image,proposing the methods needed in the practice of the translation.He also gave a systematic argument concerned with abrasion of beauty during the translation between Chinese and English.
Although there are more than two hundred essays related to the studies on fairy tale translation in Wan Fang database,a few essays use aesthetic theory to analyze “The Nightingale and the Rose”.The initiative creativity of the translator leads to the different aesthetic judgment,which determined by this extinct subjective cognition,then the self-awareness is produced,the relationship between subject and object is established and the aesthetic consciousness come into being.However,according to Guo Xiaoyan(2005) from Nanchang University, the different explanatory phenomenon and aesthetic feeling towards to the same original text from different translators are all reasonable.
