My profound gratitude first goes to Associate Prof. Yuan Bing, my supervisor, for her constant guidance and encouragement in the process of my writing. During the past several months, I have been under dual pressure of taking part in the postgraduate entrance examination and writing the graduation thesis. It is Associate Prof. Yuan Bing that helped me to keep a balance between them. Since the English version of Life and Death Are Wearing Me Out is not easy to buy, Associate Prof. Yuan Bing has lent me her book to solve my problem.
I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the teachers who have ever taught me during my college years. Through the four-year study, I have laid a solid foundation for my further English study. Therefore, I have found my edge and interest in translation which is the direction I am striving for.
Last, I am also grateful to my classmates and roommates for their encouragement and support.
