If a person wants to find the answer to the question, he or she should know the reasons which have caused the result. Therefore, some factors which affect the learning interest of the students will be exposed. Then, the ways to improve the students’ interest of learning English in middle schools will be introduced. In this part, some practical ways of improving students’ interest of learning English will be stated. In order to develop students’ interest in English classes, the teachers can adopt some modern teaching ways. First, they should build harmonious relationship between teachers and students. Second, try to let students to experience success and play an important role by making full use of the multimedia. Third, teachers themselves should try to improve the quality of the teaching. This will stimulate students’ interest in this way. At the same time, it will improve their English ability as well. At last, the some ways to cultivate middle schools’ students’ interest will be introduced.
II. Literature Review
2.1 Definitions of Interest Teaching Approach
Interest-oriented approach is a teaching method by means of applying various teaching mediums and skills to arouse the interest of students to understand perceptible materials and then transform their mental and emotion intelligence from the latent state into the active state. (Li Qiaolin .1998).
In Zhang Bin’s views on interest-oriented approach, interest-oriented approach has been considered as a good combination of the traditional teaching and the modern communicative teaching which also enable the teaching contents and teaching subjects organically integrate, and finally helps effectively eliminate the psychological barriers of poor ability students in English. Interest-oriented approach is not only for decreasing the difficulty of the textbooks or simply arousing file students' interest on the surface, but an approach with a concrete target,through which teachers could analyze the difference of students, and cultivate the students’ deep interest in learning English.
