摘要语言是跨文化交际的载体。作为语言中最具活力的词汇元素体现出社会政治、经济、文化的发展趋势。新词展现出一个时代的变迁与社会的进步，它是了解一个国家的关键。随着全球化进程的加快，国与国之间的外交关系日益密切，交际语言变得尤为重要。近年来，中国经历了巨大的变化，世界各国有必要了解这些巨变。任何新事物，新现象都会先从新词中显示出来。中国特色新词是一个表现中国时代特色和中国国情的崭新方式。现实中，具有中国特色的新词与表达在英语中还不能找到翻译的对等词，这成为了汉英翻译中的一大问题。目前，中国特色新词翻译技巧不但需要不断的提高，也需要摆脱不足的理论和分析不到位的问题。当今，准确地翻译中国特色新词对很好地弘扬中国特色文化起到非常重要的作用。本论文简单地阐述了中国特色新词的定义以及分类；分析中国特色新词的研究现状。本文从分析政治、经济、文化与社会生活等特色新词入手，以直译、释译并举、意译、音译的角度来研究翻译技巧。目的在于提供一个了解中国社会文化变迁的窗口，同时对于跨文化交际也提供有益的参考。45003
总的来说，为中国特色新词建立一个理论体系，订立有效的翻译原则，形成一个标准和总结一套翻译技巧成为我们当前迫切的任务。同时，这需要我们坚持不懈的努力与持续的研究。

Abstract Language is the carrier of cross-cultural communication. Vocabulary as the most dynamic element within language shows the trends of policy, economy and culture in society. Neologism, which reflects changes of an era and progresses of the society, is the key to get across a country comprehensively and dynamically. As the degree of globalization speeding up, the external relationships between countries become closer. Therefore, communicational language is essential. In recent years, China has undergone enormous changes which have to be understood by the world. Any new things, new phenomena are manifested first by neologism. Neologism with China-featured is a span-new way to express era features and national conditions of China. In reality, China-featured words and expressions can not find the translation equivalent in English, which becomes a major problem in Chinese-English translation. At present, the translation skills of China-featured words and expressions need to be improved continuously. Meanwhile, when we translate those words and expressions we need to reconsider the insufficient theories and improper analysis. Nowadays, it is very important to translate these China-featured neologism accurately and precisely, which can carry forward our China-featured cultures to the world very well. This paper simply explains the definition and classifications of China-featured Neologism and analyzes its current achievements and problems. It also discusses the translation skills of China-featured Neologism by the angles of literal translation, literal translation with explanation, free translation, and transliteration based on the analysis of political, economic, cultural and social life featured neologism. It aims to provide useful reference to understand the social and cultural changes in China and intercultural communication.
 In short, it becomes an urgent task for all of us to establish a theoretical system, determine the effective translation principles, form a standard and summarize a set of practical techniques for the China-featured neologism. Meanwhile, it needs our continuous efforts and more researches.
