1 Introduction
1。1 Research background
According to the 36th “Statistical report on the development of the Internet in China” published by the China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC), up to June 2015, the number of China's Internet users reached 668 million (mobile phone users 594 million), and Internet penetration rate is 48。8%。 The rapid development of the Internet has greatly promoted the process of globalization of politics, economy, culture and technology, and it has made a lot of new things and new phenomena to emerge。 In order to meet the needs of social communication, new language expressions and symbols are given to these things and phenomena, and new words are created (Li, 1995)。 According to conservative statistics, on average, more than 800 new words are produced every year, since the reform and opening up of China 20 years ago (Liu, 2004)。 In particular, with the widespread use of new network media, this phenomenon has become more obvious。
In the past century, as a language which spread very fast,English has become the strongest 文献综述
international lingua franca; probably the only “world language” today in terms of politics, entertainment and technology (Jiang, 2000)。 Under the background of globalization, English as a language has permeated into many aspects of Chinese social life especially in network language。 English “invasion” words have interrupted the development of Chinese language and influenced the whole ecological environment of network language。
1。2 Significance of the study
Network language is the core vehicle and medium in internet communication (Bai & Chen, 2012), and among the network language, catchword is the most active one。 With the accelerating process of globalization and the coming of Internet "new media" era, cross cultural communication has become more frequent, many English “invasion” words appear in network language。 Among the researches of network language, methods and theory of disciplines such as sociology, psychology, semiotics, communication and ethics has been frequently used (Bai & Wang, 2014; Chen, 2006; Chen & Shi, 2013; Nunan, 2001)。 But there are very few research is from the perspective of Ecolinguistics to study the impact of “invasion” words on survival and development of indigenous cyber catchwords。 Therefore, this paper is based on the theory and method of ecological linguistics, analyzing the impact of English invasion word on the survival and development of Indigenous cyber catchwords, revealing the characteristics of language development in the Internet era and offering a new perspective for the study of the network language。来*自~优|尔^论:文+网www.youerw.com +QQ752018766*
