Abstract In China, English has become a compulsory subject in primary school。 Since the new curriculum reform, a lot of new words have appeared in primary school English studies, which has brought more challenges to English learning for primary school students。 Children in English-speaking countries remember the words not by rote, but by spelling, which is the so-called phonics method。 Phonics, also known as English Phonics, is currently the mainstream of English teaching。 It is a teaching method for children to learn English pronunciation and spelling, and enhance the capacity of reading。 This kind of teaching method is simple, efficient, and conforms to the rules for children to learn English。 Phonics is an effective teaching method。

摘要在中国，从小学开始英语就成了必考科目。新课程改革之后，小学英语教学中增加了很多新的词汇。这就对小学生的英语学习带来了更多挑战。英语国家的孩子，记单词不是靠“背”，而是靠“拼读”，这就是所谓的“自然拼读”法。自然拼读法，又称“英语自然拼读法”，是目前国际主流的英语教学法。它是以英语为母语国家的孩子学习英语读音与拼字，增进阅读能力与理解力的教学法。这种教学法简单高效，符合小朋友学习语言的规律，是一种效果显著的英语教学法。

本文阐明了自然拼读法在英语单词的发音规则与发音技巧中的应用，使学生形成“见词能读，听音能写”的能力，从而快速记忆单词。本文还探究了如何让他们在玩中学习，在学习中玩。自然拼读法不仅改变了学习英语时的枯燥氛围，而且还有效地提高学生学习和记忆单词的效率。
