The application of Internet in High School English Teaching
I。 Introduction
Issues about the application of the Internet in high school English teaching since 1960s, has caused widely public concern by the domestic and foreign scholars, hence, the corresponding research results is also extremely abundant。 The researches focus on the problem of integration between Internet and English teaching of high school。 As is known to all, the company in the United States in 1959 successfully developed the first computer aided teaching system, which has started computer education application。 So far, The Internet aided teaching has three tremendous evolution (He 4): The first time is the primary stage of computer assisted instruction from 1960s to 1970s, which is based on behaviorism learning theory as the theoretical basis; the second time is the development stage of computer assisted instruction in the 1970s to 1990s, which is based on cognitive learning theory as a theoretical basis。 With the further comprehensive studies in the theory of pedagogy, psychology and the overall thorough research of education practice, the Internet aided teaching is gradually mature; the last time is the widely application of the Internet after the 1990s, which provides the necessary guarantee for the application of constructivism learning theory in the classroom teaching。论文网
Therefore, the minister of education Chen zhili, in the annual national education working conference in the ministry of education, has pointed out that introducing the computer aided teaching in classroom can give play to its superiority in the richness of information resources, unlimited time and space, the man-machine complementary advantages, process of contextualized teaching and so on, such as favorable conditions, recreation, broaden students’ vision, and arousing students’ interest in learning。 So, it is an important subject in front of us about how to make better use of modern Internet education technology in senior high school English classroom teaching, and how to make the high school English teaching effectively and enhances the students’ ability and levels of learning English。
In this paper, it is focused on how to apply effectively Internet in high school English teaching。 Based on the foreign language education psychology, language acquisition theory and constructivist learning theory as the theoretical guidance, it analyzes what may bring to the foreign language teaching in the language acquisition theory and constructivist learning theory。 Then it mainly discusses the inevitability and necessity of the multimedia assisted English teaching。 By comparing the advantages of Internet aided teaching with traditional teaching method, it puts effective and concrete methods of the application of Internet in high school English teaching and some problems that should be paid attention to in the teaching of Internet。 It is hope that the article discusses have profound meaning and significant operability to teachers both in theory and in practice。
