基于内容的视频检索技术成为计算机科学研究的热点课题。本文以新闻视频为研究对象,根据新闻视频特殊的结构，完成了一种基于直方图差异新闻视频切变检测算法。 本文主要做了下面的工作： 首先完成了一种基于直方图改进的镜头边界检测算法。简要介绍了像素对差值法、直方图最小帧法、基于边缘变化率的方法，并对这三种方法的 适用范围作了分析。然后本文介绍了 RGB，HSV，HSL 三种颜色空间，同时对所设计的 算法进行了阐述，介绍了所要用到的一些 OpenCV 的函数，还通过实验对比三种颜色空 间，比较得出哪种颜色空间更适合我们的算法。最后选取了 10 组视频，分析了算法的适 用性。 80212

Title Cut Shot Detection Algorithm of News Video 

Abstract

Content-based video retrieval technology has become a focus in computer science。 This thesis dedicated to news video analysis and has realized a cut shot detection algorithm that in consideration of the specificality of the structure of the news video。 

The main work is as follows: After a brief introduction and an analysis of three main cut shot detection methods, namely one based on difference of pixel pairs, based on minimization of frame histograms, and based on change rates of edges, an improved shot boundary detection algorithm based on histogram has been presented。 Then three color spaces, including RGB, HSV, and HSL were respectively applied on the proposed algorithm to find out the best candidate。 Finally ten segments of videos were subject to experiments to get the usability of the algorithm through OpenCV。
