Research on China’s shipbuilding steel markets

Abstract The shipbuilding steel plate market features three indispensable components including steel eterprises,shipbuilding dterprises and shipbuilding plate,therefore forming a benign environment of shipbuilding industry,which thus forges a basis for the joint development of steel and shipbuilding enterprises。Since the new century,drastically booming economy and constant expasion of shipbuilding industry leads to the surplus of production capacity and imbalance between supply and demand and other problems in company with the export。Therefore,it is crucial to ease the tension between supply and demand,push foword the transformation of steel industry structures。By exploring the intrinsic connection among shipbuilding enterprises, steel enterprises and boat deck products, this dissertation has pointed out that the otherwise relatively isolated and stagnant dilemma would be cracked by consolidating the industry chain of upstream and downstream firms。 Simultaneously, lessons have been drawn from the fundamental analysis of finance market analysis to explore the supply and demand relationship in shipbuilding steel market, and thus proposals have been put forward in easing the tension of supply and demand。 References of technical analysis in finance market, combined with relevant average line theory help to analyze price fluctuation and trend of medium and heavy plate and conclude upon the influence of price variation on upstream and downstream enterprises as well as the whole shipbuilding steel market, and on the above-mentioned basis projecting analysis of the trend of boat deck has been implemented。
