3) Emulsion, microemulsion and microcapsules in liquid phase all have certain antibacterial property。 Both kind of microemulsion and microcapsule with chitosan/sodium tripolyphosphate has poor antibacterial performance than general emulsion, but antibacterial property of microcapsule with cyclodextrin is better than general emulsion and is still outstanding in lower concentration。 Obviously the antibacterial properties of microcapsules can be used on condition that appropriate wall material, condensed mode and water-soluble is found。
4) Antibacterial properties of general emulsion and microemulsion can be found in solid phase but none of microcapsules。 The bacteriostasis of microcapsule in the solid phase has no great value。
5) Antibacterial properties of microcapsules can be found if fumigated in gas phase when essential oil is at low concentration but none of general emulsion and microemulsion。 Therefore microcapsule can improve the efficacy of essential oil even if in the condition of high temperature and low concentration profiting from its controlled release
