Analysis of China’s Social Insurance Fund Investment Problems And Countermeasures
——Based on the data from 2003 to 2013
Abstract: The 2012 China’s Social Insurance Fund Annual Report show that total assets of China's social insurance fund achieved 1trillion Yuan, the social insurance fund investment yield also improved compared to previous years. But with the increase of China's economic and social development and social issues such as an aging population, social security fund balances will continue to expand the scale. To ensure the security and increasing the value of the fund, and a balanced and timely payment of social insurance costs, it must be safe and effective for the investment fund. This article aims to introduce social insurance fund investment theory to analyze the status of domestic and foreign investment in the social security fund, focusing on the investment merits of the China’s Social Insurance Fund and its investment portfolio management models and finds ways an investment management approach is consistent with China.
