    摘要:花香型精油是花卉植物产生的一类次生代谢产物,具有抑菌和抗氧化效果。利用纯精油及其微乳液进行化妆品防腐是取代化学防腐剂的新思路。本文构建了油醇比分别为 1:1 和 1:3 的2 种精油微乳体系,研究了 4 种花香型纯精油(薰衣草精油、丁香精油、百里香精油和薄荷精油)及其微乳液对大肠杆菌和金黄色葡萄球菌的最低抑菌浓度(minimal inhibitory concentration,MIC)和生长曲线。同时,进行了化妆品的应用实验。抑菌试验结果表明薰衣草精油、丁香精油、薄荷精油、百里香精油及其微乳液对大肠杆菌和金黄色葡萄球菌有明显的抑制作用,纯丁香精油的抑菌效果最好,对大肠杆菌和金黄色葡萄球菌的MIC 值均为 10μL/mL,且 2种油醇比配方的微乳液均能一定程度提高纯精油的抑菌效力;大肠杆菌和金黄色葡萄球菌的生长动态显示在 MIC 和 1/2MIC 浓度下,4 种精油及其微乳液能延长 2 个菌株延滞期并缩短生长期;此外,丁香精油微乳液用于化妆水培养模型,在 37℃培养24h 后对大肠杆菌均有一定的抑制作用。上述结果表明,通过微乳液技术降低精油浓度,提升精油抑菌效果,可能是精油在化妆品防腐领域应用的一种有效途径。41187

    Evaluation of antimicrobial activity of floralessential oil and its microemulsion againstmicroorganisms in cosmetics
    Abstract: Floral essential oil is a kind of secondary metabolites produced by plants,which posseses both antibacterial and antioxidant effects. Using pure essential oils andtheir microemulsion formulas for cosmetic preservation is a potential way to replacechemical preservatives. In this paper, two kinds of essential oil microemulsion systems(oleyl alcohol ratio was 1:1 and 1:3) were constructed. The minimum inhibitoryconcentration (MIC) and growth inhibition curve of four floral essential oils (lavender,clove, thyme and mint) and their microemulsions against Escherichia coli andStaphylococcus aureus were determined. Furthermore, their application in inhibitingmicroorganisms in cosmetics was evaluated. It was observed that lavender, clove,peppermint, and thyme essential oils and their microemulsions had strong inhibitory effecton E. coli and S. aureus. Clove essential oil exhibited the strongest inhibitory effect, andits MIC value was 10μL/mL against both tested bacteria. Notably, microemulsification of fouressential oils can improve their antibacterial effect of. Prolonged lag phase and shortened growth period were observed in E. coli and S. aureus in the preserence of MIC and1/2MIC of essential oils and their microemulsions. In addition, when applied to liquidcosmetic model, a certain inhibitory effect against E. coli was observed after incubation at37 oC for 24h. These results showed that microemulsion technology could enhance theantibacterial activity of floral essential oils. In this case, lower antimicrobialconcentrations are required for in vivo tests, thus broadening the utilization of essentialoils in cosmetics.Key words: floral essential oil; cosmetics; microemulsion; growth inhibition curve;application test
