A Sensitivity Study of Unbalanced Bridge
Abstract: According to analyzing the working principle and the sensitivity characteristic of the unbalanced bridge, designing the non-equilibrium bridge experiment, measuring and analyzing the data which is based on the self-organized experiment apparatus, the paper concludes that the sensitivity of the output voltage Sv is decided by the the supply voltage ε, the relative variation δ of the bridge arm resistance to be measured and the bridge ratio X. The value of ε and X has greater influence on the Sv, and the value of δ has less influence on the Sv. The value of the Sv reaches the highest when X=1, and the value of the Sv will be lower when the value of X is bigger or smaller. When doing the measurement by making use of the unbalanced bridge in the factual application, under the condition of the allowable power consumption of the each component, if we need to improve the sensitivity of bridge Sv, we can improve the supply voltage ε or collocate the every component reasonably and choose the suitable bridge ratio X.
