So how can teachers teach effectively and how can they arouse students’ interest towards English learning? Applied to the most basic vocabulary, chant may improve teaching efficiency and achieve the purpose of effective teaching。 文献综述
1。2 The purpose and significance of the Study
This research is a study on the application of chant in vocabulary teaching。 Through this study, we put chant into the vocabulary teaching。 Moreover, the theoretical and practical significance of this study are as follows:
Firstly, the result of the study could give English teachers of primary schools some hints, which could help them design some proper chants to facilitate vocabulary learning and motivate students interest。
Secondly, the result of this study would provide some data for the research and provide some assistance for further research in the future。
Therefore, the findings of this study will be beneficial for English teachers and researchers to some extent。
1。3 The structure of the study
There are five chapters in this study。
The first chapter is the introduction。 It mainly introduces the application background, the value of the chant in English teaching and the significance of the study。
The second chapter briefly introduces the definition of chant and its function and shows the current research related to the application of chant teaching in China and foreign countries。
The third chapter carries out the teaching experiment design, which includes the description of the research questions, participants, instrument, procedures and data collection。
The fourth chapter presents the analysis of the results and the discussion of the experiments。
In the fifth chapter, it shows the conclusion of the research, and puts forward the limitation of the experiment。
