Some observations on the emerging parenthetical Chinese expressions

Abstract We believe that the messages we sent always have two parts: what is said and what is implicated。 (Paul Grice)。 But the emerging parenthetical Chinese expressions seem to violate those traditional pragmatic theories。 In this kind of expression, we express what we mean though words, alphabets or alphabets with pitch of voice with or without brackets。 This kind of expression has five forms。 And different forms have different degree of expressing the speaker’s intention。 I try to make revisions on previous pragmatic theories based on this kind of expression。 And two of the reasons for its popularity: the change of society and our  developing  senses of humor are discussed in this paper。88875

对中文中“注音心声体”现象的观察
