2。2。2 The basic features of task-based language teaching
Task-based approach is the latest development of Western English education since 1980s, and is the latest development of communicative approach。 Its features are as follows。
1) Task-based approach is a new form of communicative approach, the new development, not its substitute。
2)Task-based approach emphasizes the teaching process, and tries to make students participate in the learning process through the completion of the real life tasks, so that students can develop the ability to use English。
3) Task-based approach still focuses on the real life as the center of teaching activities, and modifies the problem of lack of authenticity in the teaching activities based on function。
4) Task-based approach does not oppose the teaching of language knowledge, but advocates the ability to use language for the purpose of language knowledge teaching。
2。2。3 Framework of task-based language teaching文献综述
There are a lot of frameworks of Task-based language teaching, in which the framework of Wills is the most representative。 Wills believes that the framework is pided into three phases: Pre-task, Task Cycles and Language Focus。
Pre-task includes topics and tasks。 In this phase, the teachers and students tail about the topic, focusing on the useful words and phrases, and help the students to understand the task instructions and prepare tasks。
Task Cycles include task, planning and report。 In this phase, students perform tasks in the form of a group in the first place。 Then, the students in each group report the task completion in oral or written form。 Finally, compare the results of the task by the team or form of exchange of written reports between groups。
Language Focus includes analysis and practice。 In this phase, students further study, consolidate and master some features of the language used in the previous phases。 And students can analyze the language features of the text and recordings。 Finally, the teacher guides the students to practice the new words, phrases and sentences in the analysis or after the analysis。
2。3 Researches on task-based language teaching
2。3。1 Researches abroad
Prahbu is the earliest linguist to carry out task-based language teaching mode。 In a primary school in Bangalore in Southern India, he carried out the reform of communicative language teaching, and in the classroom, allowing the learners to acquire the language in the process of completing the task in 1983。 Then he published the test report, and proposed task-based approach one year later(Lu 5)。
