    1.3 Structure of the Thesis 

    This thesis is pided into five chapters. Chapter One makes an introduction to the current situation of the English writing teaching in junior high schools in China, presents a brief description of this study. The next chapter provides with theoretical supports, including English writing, CLL and how these two combine together, the comparison of other methods and CLL in writing teaching. In Chapter Three, the author conducts a research by using two questionnaires and an experiment, then collects the data of them. After this experiment, Chapter Four analyzes the results of the questionnaires and the experiment, gives suggested answers to the research questions. The last chapter is Conclusion, in which the author comes up with the major findings of the study, the implications of this study, the limitations of this research and some suggestions for future research.
