A Study on the Lexical Error analysis of Junior English Writing Abstract It is common that English learners commit errors. Among these errors, lexical errors appear most frequently. This study analyzed lexical errors occurred in junior high school students’ compositions based on Error Analysis.compositions written by students in a certain public junior high school were collected. Altogether 114 lexical errors were identified. Then they were classified and followed by a discussion of the possible causes, which is mainly elaborated from three aspects:
1. What are most commonly committed lexical errors in students’ writing?
2. What are the possible causes of learners’ lexical errors?
3. What are the pedagogical implications of the study on vocabulary teaching?
The analysis shows that among the four types of lexical errors, spelling errors are the most frequent, followed by letter misselection and collocational errors, while the calque occupies smallest of the total. The causes of lexical errors are various while mispronunciation, negative transfer of ML, inefficient teaching methods, etc, make great contribute.
On the basis of this research, the author proposes corresponding suggestions from several aspects, including teaching vocabulary in context, reading original materials, etc.48131

初中生英语写作词汇错误分析
摘要英语学习者在学习过程中经常产生错误,其中词汇错误最为常见。本文以错误分析为理论基础,以作文为研究对象,研究中学生写作中的词汇错误。
作者对杭州市某公立中学学生的160篇英语作文进行采样分析,将作文中出现的114个词汇错误分类,并从以下三方面对这些错误进行了分析和讨论:
1、中学生英语写作中常见的词汇错误有哪些?
2、造成这些错误的原因有哪些?
3、词汇错误分析对词汇教学的有何启示?
研究结果表明:在四种词汇错误中,拼写错误出现最为频繁,其次是词汇误选和搭配错误,直译相对较少。词汇错误来源有很多,发音错误,母语的负迁移,教学方式欠缺等都是导致词汇错误产生的原因。
基于这项研究,作者对英语教学和英语学习提出了一定的建议,包括结合语境进行教学,阅读英语原著等。
