    英语写作是非英语专业学生要掌握的基本语言技能之一,可是,无论是教师还是学生,都感到英语写作的教与学不仅“费时”,而且“低效”。英语写作能力已经成为制约我国非英语专业学生英语水平进一步提高的一个主要因素。英语写作能力是非英语专业学生应该具备的一种技能,但是学生在写作过程中会遇到不同程度的困难。比如词汇运用困难,文章结构组织困难,以及文章内容单一等。本文对影响非英语专业学生写作能力的原因进行了分析,并提出了改进的措施和提高的办法。7430

    English writing is one of the fundamental language abilities which the non-English major students should master. But both teachers and students all realize that the teaching and learning of English writing is not only time-consumed, but also is poor-efficiency. English writing ability has already become one of the main aspects which restrict the further improvement of college English level in our country. But not enough attention has been paid to it. English writing ability is the skill that the non-English major students should have, but the students will encounter varying degrees of difficulties in writing process. The difficulties such as not knowing how to use vocabularies, not knowing how to organize the structure of the article and the content of the article is simple. The article analyzes the reasons that effect the English writing abilities improvement of non-English major students, and come up with the improvement measures and methods.

    Research of Influencing Factors and Countermeasures of Non-English Major Students’ Writing Ability

    Ⅰ.Introduction
                                         
    English writing is a kind of initiative skill in written form, which can objectively reflect students’ thought-organization ability and language- expression ability. The new “ College English Curriculum Requirements ( Trial)” For non- English major students' writing ability makes the following requirements: “The students can complete the common application of the general stylistic writing tasks , to describe personal experiences , events, perception , emotion , etc. ; can write on general topics or outline of 120 word essay in half an hour , which can express the basic integrity of the content , with appropriate words and coherent discourse ;  Be able to use the appropriate writing skills in general or application writing” (Tang 28:106) . English writing is not only the “Outline” For non-English major students’ requirements, but also meets the needs of students who need to adapt to the society (Atkinson 12:1). From multiple angles, we may see English writing skills for non- English major students is so important. Nevertheless, in recent years, English writing ability has not aroused a lot of attention of students and even teachers. There are a lot of flaws in the English writing teaching and learning of English writing problems, which we need to improve.
