摘要定语是英语和汉语同的一项语法成分。在某种程度上,英语和汉语有某些相似之处,这是我们进行英汉对比研究的基础。这篇论文将使用定性的方法进行研究。为了进行英汉定语位置的对比研究,我们将从语意、语用和认知方面进行研究。英语的定语后置现象和汉语的定语前置现象都是为了修辞表达的需要来强调修饰限定语同时也为了平衡句子结构。通过英汉句子中前置和后置定语位置的对比,我们得出结论:定于位置受语义规律和认知形式的限制。在某种程度上语言是约定俗成的,英语中的后置定语就是典型的代表。语序是一种重要的语法形式,在语言结构中扮演着特定的意义和功能性作用。英汉句子中定语的前置和后置现象从而促进相关定语结构和意义的研究。50940

Abstract English and Chinese have a common grammar element, which is attributive. To some extent, English and Chinese has some similarity in word order which is the foundation of comparing the word order between English and Chinese. This paper uses the qualitative method for studying the problem. In order to get the comparison of attributive position between Chinese and English, we will analyze it from the aspects of semantics, pragmatics and cognitive. Through the comparison of the position in pre-attributive and post-attributive, we can conclude that the attributive position is limited by semantic regulation and cognitive pattern. To some extent, language is conventional. In English, the phenomenon of post-attributive is a representative example. As we all know, word order is an important grammatical form or means, which plays a role of distinctive meanings and functions in the structure of language. The pre-attributive and post-attributive in English and Chinese promote the study and use about the attributive structure related.

The Contrastive Study of Attributive’s Position Between Chinese and English
I. Introduction
As we all know, word order is an important grammatical form or means, which play a role of distinctive meanings and functions in the structure of language. English is a kind of Indo-European language, however Chinese belongs to Sino-Tibetan language family. They have great differences in pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary and culture. But Chinese and English have a habit of using word order and functional words to express the characteristics of various grammatical structures, especially Chinese which have no strict sense of form, As the world recognized language, Chinese dependent on word order which is an important grammar means. So when we do comparison in English and Chinese, it is important to focus on the order, clarify the differences and similarities between the two languages in word order by comparing. Both of the two languages are all mainly consist of subject, predicate, object, complement, adverbial and attributive. Different language has different syntax word order. In general, in Chinese, the qualifier includes attributive and adverbial which are placed in front of the central word. On the contrary, In English, the attributive are usually put after the central word.
