摘要作为东西方两个具有代表性的文学作品，《梁山伯与祝英台》和《罗密欧与朱丽叶》被人们所熟知。周恩来总理在日内瓦会议上把《梁山伯与祝英台》称为“中国的《罗密欧与朱丽叶》”。由于中西方文化传承的背景不同以及社会环境、风俗等之间文化氛围存在着巨大差异，二者是有显著不同的。《罗密欧与朱丽叶》和《梁山伯与祝英台》是倍受中西方人喜爱的两部经典爱情悲剧。目前虽然有大量文献对其进行对比分析，但大都局限在主题，人物和风格的对比方面。8710

针对以上问题，本毕业论文在借鉴前人研究成果的基础上，从文化角度入手，采用解读法和文本分析法，从悲剧美学以及中西方悲剧的心理这两个方面进行研究具体分析这两部中外名著，力图通过此种研究方向丰富文化著作的研究内容，为今后文学创作，尤其是在创作者对于其笔下的人物的悲剧心理和悲剧审美的这两个方面供写作启示。

As both Eastern and Western literary representative, The Butterfly Lovers and Romeo and Juliet are generally known by people. Premier Zhou Enlai at the Geneva meeting said The Butterfly Lovers is called China's Romeo and Juliet. Western cultural heritage due to the different backgrounds and culture there is a huge difference between the social environments, customs, and so on. These two are very different. Both Romeo and Juliet and Butterfly Lovers have been very popular in the West and China. So far lots of research papers have only confined their studies to the themes, characters and styles of these two classics. It’s rare to find the comparison of these two tragedies in images and structures from the perspectives of the tragic aesthetics and national psychology.
Based on the previous research, the writer would like to discuss the cultural factors of these two different societies by ways of analysis and comparison from perspectives of tragic aesthetics and national psychology. The close-reading and text-analysis are the main methods in this study.
There is a tentative endeavor to further studies of cultural achievements and provide inspiration for further writing.

Analysis on Differences of Chinese and Western humanities from Romeo and Juliet and Butterfly lovers
I. Introduction
In the age of globalization, the studies of cross-cultural communication and comparative literature develop rapidly and vigorously. This paper aims to create new possibilities of upgrading culture by comparing the differences and similarities between western and Chinese cultures and assimilating different elements in western culture. And the earlier researchers have made the fruitful results in Chinese tragedy studies as well as in the comparison of the tragedy theories of both cultures. This makes the fulfillment of the goal possible.
