Abstract Now, as China’s international status grows, and partly because of Chinese culture, many foreign tourists have desire to travel china. It is increasingly essential to study the translation of tourist publicity materials due to the rapid and booming development tourism industry. In this thesis, a tentative study about the translation of tourist publicity materials will be conducted from the perspective of Skopos Theory. 71346
In this thesis, research status of tourism translation is reviewed through a detailed and thorough literature research approach, and the comparative analysis method is employed to compare Chinese and English tourism texts. The thesis also adopted Text analysis and case study. The analysis of C-E translation of tourist publicity materials is made, and some practical and feasible translation strategies are summarized. Finally, the case study shows that Skopos Theory can be employed to guide C-E translation of tourist publicity materials.

摘要由于中国的国际地位日益显著,随着旅游业的快速发展,大量国外游客纷纷来中国旅游,他们也许是被中文化的拨打精深所吸引,或是被中国美食所诱惑,总而言之,这使得研究旅游文本的翻译的必要性以及迫切性。本论文在目的论这个翻译理论的引导和前提下,研究分析对比旅游文本的汉译英。
论文首先用文献研究法详细系统地回顾了旅游文本汉译英的现状和发展,对旅游文本汉译英相关的翻译理论和实践进行了系统地总结。同时,在比较中英旅游本特点时,运用了比较分析法,比较了旅游文本汉译英两个版本之间的翻译原则和原翻译策略。对大量翻译案例的分析表明目的论可以作为旅游景点介绍汉英翻译的指导性翻译原则,同时,相关案例的详细对比分析也表明目的论指导下的翻译策略在旅游文本汉译英实践中的实用性和重要意义。
