Zhou (2006) considers that the Theatre of the Absurd shows a strong “anti-drama” characteristic。 In other words, the Theatre of the Absurd has the characteristic of anti-reality, anti-thinking, anti-character, anti-plot conflict and anti-language。 The proposition of “anti-drama” is a great paradox in the Theatre of the Absurd。 On one hand, “anti” is to completely deny the reality and on the other hand, the way of “anti” makes the distance between drama and reality farther and farther。 Thus the society faces the crisis of systematization。

Ding (2012) holds the opinion that the language of the Theatre of the Absurd shows the theme of absurdity in the form of absurdity。 The different way of language expression compared with traditional drama shows the dilemma human beings is facing in the absurd universe。
