Abstract In order to distinguish the differences between Business English vocabulary and common English vocabulary, this thesis mainly focuses on characteristics of Business English and clarifies characteristics of Business English and its applications in commercial activities by analyzing specific cases, this will be good for carrying out commercial activities and avoiding pergences and unnecessary disputes that result from misnomers in international trade。 This paper aims to help foreign trade specialists to be familiar with Business English vocabulary and use these vocabularies with high proficiency。73373

1。 Introduction

Thanks to the WTO, as we enter the 21st century, commercial activities between different countries become more and more frequent, also, English is the most common language used in the commercial world, however, because of the differences in code of language between each country, there are lots of pergences exist in transfering the information of goods, in order to avoid these pergences, Business English was born。 Business English has its particular social functions, it is involved in all kinds of commercial activities, the purpose of Business English is to serve the international trade。
