Amy Tan,one of the most popular and productive Chinese-American writers。Her books mostly are based on her life experience and family history。Born in Oakland, California。Amy Tan is the second immigration of her family。Her parents left China to America in 1840。They both have the extraordinary experience which provides her with writing materials。She receives both American and Chinese education while growing up。Like anyone else, she also finds it hard to maintain the balance between living in the Chinese family and trying to be a native American in the western country。论文网
