Abstract Hero worship is a usual cultural psychological and cultural love knot。 Hero, as a product of culture, can indicate the spirit and the standards of it are not unique according to the culture。 Heroism, as a special form of culture, enriches people’s behavior, and stimulates the society’s improvement。 However，because of the various standards people have for heroism, hero images also show differently in different cultures。 73546

With the development of the mass media ,movies have become a main part of social and cultural life。 Movies ,as a carrier of culture ,are directed by different countries to depict their values of their hero。 As the globalization era is increasingly significant, movies bear the responsibility of each country’s core cultural competitiveness and the responsibility to accelerate the integration of various ethnic cultures。 

In the paper, the author chooses the movie “Ant-man” to represent western cultures and“ Hero” to represent eastern cultures。 The paper describes the similarities and differences of heroism in the two cultures by comparing “Hero” in Chinese movies and “Ant-man” in American movies。 Through the comparison, people can have a general idea of the different cultures in eastern and western countries。 Knowing the similarities and differences of Chinese and American heroism can help people reduce conflicts and improve the ability of intercultural communication。

摘要英雄崇拜是一种普遍的文化心理和文化情结，英雄作为文化的产物，可以反映一个民族的精神风貌，其标准并不统一。英雄zhuyi作为文化的一种特殊的形式，它丰富了人们的行为，促进了社会的进步。但是，由于人们对英雄有不同的的标准，英雄的形象在不同的文化中也就不同。随着全球化时代的不断推进，电影承担着每个国家核心文化竞争力的责任，同时，也承担着加速各个文化的融合的责任。作为大众媒体的重要形式，电影不仅是一种艺术表达的方式，也反映社会和人类精神。同时这类媒体形式也影响着人类的行为和思想。本文选取了美国电影《蚁人》作为西方文化的代表，中国电影英雄作为中方文化的代表，旨在通过比较两部电影《英雄》和《蚁人》来比较英雄zhuyi在东西方文化中的相似与不同点。从而，我们可以对中西方国家的不同文化有个大致的了解。了解中西方英雄zhuyi相同与不同点，可以帮助我们减少冲突，提高跨文化交际能力。

Hero is the eternal topic and dream of human beings。 And then, what is the hero? Heroes can have a great ambition and courage and generousness。 They must be just and can help common people out of the hard times, these are usual interpretation of hero of people。 In the Modern Chinese Language Dictionary hero has two meanings: a person who has more abilities and courage than ordinary people; a person who dare not the hardness, fight for the interests of people without considering himself。 The biggest difference between hero and common people should be that heroes do not be afraid of everything。 However, being not afraid of anything does not mean that heroes are never afraid of anything。 In fact, most of people begin to fear and retreat at the time when the potential of hero begin to appear。论文网
