1。2 Significance and purpose

Literature embodies the art of language, and it has the characteristics of vivid, vitality and fantastic style of language expression to the extent that it can be the most abundant language materials in students’ learning。 Literary language comes from life, reflects life, and shows a nature popular, so it’s easy to be absorbed by students。 In the primary school English literature teaching, we can use various forms to explain and appreciate the  foreign works。 We  can show some  interesting  literature materials   by which it’s easy to arise students’ interest to input and penetrate something useful  to the students。 Such behavior to show abundant literary works to children will enable students to understand the general knowledge of English literature effectively, It is also be good for students to arise their interest in learning English and improving the students’ ability of using English language。 In this Kind of atmosphere of teaching, in this kind of feeling and studying literary works, students will no longer be tedious memorizing words and sentence pattern, but will be immersed in the experience of literary language environment, personally feel different era, and different ethnic language, which is worth a try to improve students’ appreciation of language taste and sensibility。 Language and literature can not be separated from the process of learning English itself a process of enjoying the process of English literature and art。 Due to the important role in cultivating high quality talents, it has received more and more attention of educational circles。 Therefore, it is so important to  add  children’s literature teaching in the primary school English teaching。 Among these opinions above, this article will explain the significance of children’s literature and the methods of using children’s literature appropriately in primary school English teaching from many aspects。
